What's Next for Next Chapter Connections?

We're super excited about the future of Next Chapter Connections and can't wait to build a different kind of community for Manitobans Over 50.  Let’s shatter the stereotype!  The events we are planning will focus on fun, connection, and camaraderie.

Please be patient with us while we grow; our website and social media will grow as we do. We're excited about our plans, and while they may take some time to fully realize, we're going to have a lot of fun along the way!  So check in with us regularly to see what we are up to.  We genuinely want to hear from YOU about what you're passionate about and what kinds of events you'd love to attend. Whether it's social mixers, outdoor adventures, learning workshops, or cultural experiences, we're all ears!

While online dating can be frustrating and seems geared towards younger generations, we're excited to offer an alternative for those over 50 who are still interested in dating and romance. Our singles events will provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment for meeting new people and making connections.  So if this is where your interest lies - you will want to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to ensure that you don’t miss out on meeting someone special.

For those who prefer to stay cozy at home, we will be hosting some virtual events as well.

And last but definitely not least, we'll be introducing some new and exciting events that you might not have tried before. Think Ax throwing!  Come on, you know you want to try it.  We are not the seniors that our grandparents were.  No offence intended but we are the ‘ageless generation” that refuses to grow old (or in some cases … grow up lol)!  We are not content to sit around with a bingo dabber on a Friday night - don’t get me wrong, we too enjoy bingo but what about trying something that you have never done before with a group of people you are comfortable with?  Cooking classes, wine pairing events, or what about a ‘salsa’ lesson?  Yup dance not salsa and chips! Let’s embrace this chapter of our life with the adventure to try new things, learn new skills, and have a blast.
